It has been almost a year since we announced the collaboration between the Nantucket Land Bank and the Trust to rebuild the stairs to the beach across from Magnolia Avenue. We are happy to be able to report that, after an unforeseen delay related to structural engineering reviews and thanks to the concerted efforts of the Land Bank, the project kicked off on February 7. It is on track to be completed this month, and the stairs will be ready to provide safe beach access well in advance of summer.
